Alike is a keyword driven, proximity based search engine for mobile or tool for tag geo-fencing.
Use this app to locate users by specific keywords or post your own tags to be found by others.

Type a keyword in the search field, define the radius and see on the map posts pertaining to your desired keyword. These are visible on the map as image thumbnails. The tags can be sorted by proximity, name, price or the date of the posting. You can communicate with the owner of the tag in the detailed view of the posting by sending a friend request, message or media files.

You might not be able to find the right keyword close enough to your location the first time - but if you save your search, set the radius and then move around, you will continue getting notifications every time a user with that tag enters your proximity.

Create your own posting in two clicks by submitting the keyword and marking it as something that you “have” or you “want”. In Advanced posting you can add extras; such as, an image, additional text description, and color code each posting in categories like Interests, Personals or Things.

Alike’s Day-timer lets you select the duration and specific days of the week to keep Alike postings active. Posts can then appear in searches at specific days and time, and not be available on others.
