• Non European tourists face limited or difficult options to get internet when they are traveling in Europe.
• On average, 12,5 million tons of paper waste are
generated yearly in Europe by printed publicity.
WHAT?
Wi-voy is the first Free* and decentralized (peer-to- peer) Wi-Fi Network provided by local people’s smartphones (Wi-Hosts) to all the people who needs internet (Wi-Guests) in public spaces.
WHO?
• Hosts: Drivers in peer-to-peer taxis (Uber type) and tourism vehicles (walking tours included)
• Guests: Non European Tourists travelling through the most tourist cities in Europe.
STARTUP STAGE
• Idea: July '17
• Bootstrapping funds 14K€: August'17
• Technology proved: January'18
• 6K€ backed by crowdfunding: March'18
• App MVP completion: May'18
• Currently Testing phase and backend DEV
• Launch: January '19
